The soup kitchen is an initiative under the banner of Kyneton Caring Community Inc.
However this program is run in co-operation with several organisations. These organisations include Kyneton Baptist Church, Kyneton branch of RRT (Rapid Relief Team) who are essentially a community out reach for the Brethren Christian Church. We also have Kyneton Community and Learning Centre as an active partner and our aim is to offer free food on the first Friday of every month to anyone in the community that wishes to come down, with our aim always being that we target the most disadvantaged members of our community, and those that are socially isolated. It is also a great way to integrate people from different parts of our community.
