We are a not for profit self funded organisation, so we don't receive any type of ongoing government funding providing food and assistance to those in need. The food we have is donated from generous people in our local community and also purchased from food share in Bendigo and Food bank Victoria. The money we use to do this comes from fantastic and generous individuals, local businesses, churches and schools, as well as from sales in our op shop, sausage sizzles and our own pockets.
If you wish to donate but are unable to get to Kyneton, we can usually organise to pick up donations please contact us if this is the case.
Donations are always welcome, are much appreciated and can come in a variety of ways.

Donations are always welcome, are much appreciated and can come in a variety of ways.
- Money - All monetary donations over $2 are tax deductible, just ask us for a receipt. Donations can be made in person at 60 Mollison Street, Kyneton or direct deposit to Commonwealth Bank BSB: 063 517 Account: 1023 6725.
- Food, drinks, toiletries, cleaning supplies etc - Please keep in mind when purchasing goods to donate to food bank, we would appreciate more of the cheaper home brands than less of the expensive brand name items. For example, before purchasing one packet of pasta for $3, please consider purchasing 3 packets of the 90 cent pasta.
- Op shop donations for sale in our shop - Please keep in mind when donating goods to the op shop, by law we cannot accept electrical items, and we do not have space to store large bulky items such as furniture. Although we always appreciate goods received, we do not sell broken, stained or incomplete items and would appreciate if these things were not donated.
- Your time - There are always thing to be done at Kyneton Caring Community and usually not enough hands to do it all!
